One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a single cobalt leaf on the front. Thin crack on underside, forming a hairline and extending several inches up reverse. Two short hairlines at base. Other hairlines to base area. Crack from rim on side of crock, and an additional short hairline from rim. Small stone ping on interior.
