Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Dated 1842, Northeastern U.S. origin, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt flower with stem forming the number “3,” flanked by the date 1842. Small chips to base. Contact mark to front. Crack in base of handle.
