Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "I. SEYMOUR / TROY FACTORY," NY State origin, second quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant design bearing two large blossoms and two smaller blossoms. 5 1/2" tight spidering line on reverse. Small chip to exterior of rim on reverse.
