Two Pieces of Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware, Stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1880, a one-gallon butter crock with stylized stenciled foliate design, paired with a batter pail with swag-decorated spout and similar stenciled design on reverse. Chips to butter crock. Batter pail with restoration to spout and one ear, as well as a very large salt drip on side.
