One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Unusual Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot and flared collar, decorated with a brushed cobalt daisy and a flower bud extending from a leafy stem. Poor restoration to a crack from rim and poor restoration to a Y-shaped crack extending from underside. Base chip on reverse.
