Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO," circa 1860, tapered pot with rounded rim and attached saucer, decorated with sponged manganese over a whitish slip. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell mark on shoulder. Two connected reglued wedges, measuring a total of approximately 3 1/4" x 5", have been restored where the meet each other and the body of the pot. 2" restored section to rim. 5/8" restored spot to rim. A few hairlines from rim with associated spots of restoration. A few minor spots of glaze loss to rim. Small colored spot of glaze loss to body. Spots of glaze wear to saucer. H 5 1/2".
