Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "WEST TROY, / N.Y. / POTTERY," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and tall spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested, ring-necked bird perched on a leafy branch. Flaked section under handle. Tiny chip to spout, Horizontal crack in handle.
