Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "M. WOODRUFF, / CORTLAND," NY State origin, circa 1868, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large tulip and the number 2 in brushed cobalt. Rim chip. Wear and few minor nicks to ledge on interior where lid would rest.
