Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Figural Decoration, Signed "CHESTER HEWELL / CSA / 1996," GA origin, Edgefield-style jug with double handles, decorated with two figures playing banjos and two dancing, applied in a dark glaze with white highlights over a greenish ground. Excellent condition. H 10 1/4".
