Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug, Signed "Lanier Meaders," GA origin, circa 1983, ovoid jug with applied ears and facial features with happy expression, including dimpled cheeks, smiling mouth with applied white clay teeth, and blue-and-white eyes. Surface covered in a dark green alkaline glaze. Dated in pencil on underside "1983". Excellent condition. H 10 1/4".
