One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, cylindrical crock with squared rim, tooled shoulder, and applied tab handles, decorated around the body with a large cobalt swag and flower design. Some shallow rim chips.
