Scarce Five-Gallon Cincinnati, Ohio Stoneware Churn, circa 1880, semi-ovoid churn with rounded rim and applied handles, featuring the stenciled words "JAMES BENJAMIN / STONEWARE / DEPOT / CINCINNATI . O.," along with a large stenciled "5" flanked by leaves. Includes Albany slip glazed lid. Handle chips. Tiny chips to top of rim. Several chips to lid.
