Ten-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Decoration, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1880, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with freehand stripes and vining, stenciled flowers and flourishes, and a freehand "10" flanked by brushwork at the base. Small chip to end of one handle. Glazed-over rim chip on reverse.
