Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Cobalt Eagle Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring a stenciled spread-winged Federal eagle along with brushed stripes and a freehand "2". Staining to surface. Glazed-over chip to underside of rim.
