Glazed Ovoid Redware Jar, New England origin, second quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with flared rim, the surface decorated with splashed manganese over a mottled green and orange ground. Excellent color. Several base chips. Some wear to surface. Short hairline from rim. Shallow chip to rim. Some wear to interior of rim. H 7 5/8".
