Exceptional Slip-Decorated Redware Ink Bottle, American, early 19th century, small-sized, cylindrical form with rounded shoulder and narrow spout, the surface profusely-decorated with a dramatic manganese design of straight and wavy stripes and spots. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Excellent decoration. Chips to spout. wear to edge of shoulder. Some scratches to surface. H 4 3/4".
