Rare Anna Pottery Chicago World's Fair Stoneware Pig Bottle, Dated 1893, Albany-slip-glazed bottle molded in the form of a pig with hole at rear, anatomically correct underside, and incised details to face and hooves. Inscribed "Fresh Pork / from the World's Fair / with a little good Old Rye / in a Pigs- / 1893". Rear incised "Cut Rates to the Worlds Fair by the ICRR". Underside incised "Chicago Water works". A fine example of this desirable Anna form. Wear to spout. Otherwise excellent condition. L 6".
