Scarce Three-Gallon Syracuse, NY Stoneware Advertising Jug, attributed to C.E. Pharis & Co., Geddes, NY, circa 1864-1867, semi-ovoid jug with tall rounded spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed floral design accented with spots. Shoulder impressed "CLANCY BROS / DEALER IN WINES LIQUORS & C / SYRACUSE". Two small stone pings to left side. Shallow in-the-making chip to top of spout. Some staining. Minor base chip to front. Small chip to underside.
