Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1855, cylindrical jug with wide spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed floral design bearing three blossoms. Two shallow rim chips. Faint lines in underside. Short separation line at base on reverse. In-the-firing separation to edge of lower handle terminal. Some very faint surface lines near base.
