One-Gallon Baltimore Stoneware Advertising Jar, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with freehand cobalt stripes, a large stenciled crown, and the stenciled inscription "D.F. HAYNES & CO. / CROWN BRAND / BALTIMORE, MD". Some bubbling to cobalt. Otherwise excellent condition. H 10 1/4".
