One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot and tooling to midsection and collar. Body decorated with a horizontal tulip motif and collar decorated with leaves. Missing handle. 5" hairline from rim to left of spout. Some fry to cobalt. Numerous thin cracks at base, extending onto underside. 1 1/2" rim chip on reverse. H 12 1/2".
