Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "T. REED," Tuscawaras County, OH, circa 1860, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large brushed-cobalt tulip with wavy stem. Large rim chips. Wear to ledge on interior of rim. A few contact marks to front and some shallow flaking to slip-coating, particularly at base on reverse. H 12 1/2".
