Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Ochre Tulip Decoration, Stamped "L NORTON & SON," Bennington, VT origin, circa 1840, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout and ribbed handle, decorated with a large ochre tulip design. Professional restoration to section of shoulder incorporating left side of maker's mark. Contact mark on right side. 1 1/4" salt drip to right of decoration. H 16".
