Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "ALBANY . NY," circa 1860, cylindrical jug with semi-squared rim, decorated with a large slip-trailed cobalt flower accented with spots. 3 1/2" hairline from spout. Post-firing spout chip. Glazed-over spout chip. 5 1/4" hairline on reverse, extending 3" onto underside. Base chips. Some fry to cobalt. H 16".
