Fine Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, PA or New England origin, mid 19th century, with coggled edge, the surface decorated with wavy trails flanked by foliate motifs in yellow slip. This example survives in rarely found, remarkable condition. Minor edge wear and a small glaze flake at edge, which appear to be in-the-firing. Diameter 9".
