Three-Gallon Brooklyn, NY Stoneware Advertising Jug, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder and rounded spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt floral design. Impressed with the advertising "LOUIS C D' HOMERGUE / LIQUOR DEALER / 16 FULTON ST / BROOKLYN NY." Flake and spidering cracks on underside, extending partway up sides of jug in two places. Spout slumped during firing. Small nick to spout. H 15 1/2".
