Two Pieces of Salt-Glazed German Stoneware, 16th or 17th century, a rust-glazed mug with ovoid body, rounded foot, and tall collar, paired with an ovoid jug with tooled spout and rust glaze. Mug in broken and reglued condition with restored 2 3/4" piece on reverse. Larger jug with chipping around exterior edge of spout and a chip or contact mark to handle, both possibly in-the-firing. H (of mug) 7".
