Diminutive Westerwald Stoneware Chamberpot, 17th century, ovoid form with heavily-tooled shoulder and tall, curving rim, decorated with molded lions with crowns flanking a seal containing a shield with stars. Surface decorated with cobalt highlights. 2 1/4" reglued section at rim. Large 4" x 4" reglued section on reverse surrounding handle. Crack on underside, extending onto base. H 4 1/2" ; Diameter 5 1/2".
