Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "J.M. HARDEN / PALATINE, WV," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded "wax sealer" rim, the front featuring Harden stenciling in cobalt, along with other stenciled flourishes. Provenance: From a Western MD collection. Near mint condition with a small chip on interior of rim. H 10".
