Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Cobalt Rose Decoration, Stenciled "T.D. HARDEN / PALATINE . W, VA," circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoudler and rounded "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a stenciled rose and leaves surrounded by T.D. Harden stenciling. Excellent condition with a 1 1/2" glazed-over line at base on side of jar and a minor chip on interior of rim. H 10 1/4".
