Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "RICHEY & HAMILTON PALATINE. W.VA.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with sloped shoulder and "wax sealer" rim, featuring the stenciled words within an elaborate banner. Provenance: From a Western MD collection. Excellent condition with some minor chips on interior of rim. H 9 3/4".
