Glazed Lidded Redware Batter Jug, PA origin, 19th century, squat-shaped form with strap handle and pouring spout, decorated with splashed manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Includes lead-glazed lid, not original to the pitcher. Spout chip and wear to rim. Lid in excellent condition. H (including lid) 8".
