Multi-Glazed Redware Cuspidor, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, with tooled midsection and dramatically-flared rim, decorated with splashed copper and manganese over cream-colored slip. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Several rim chips. Small chips to base. 3" and 4" cracks from rim. 1 1/2" line on interior of rim, which does not extend through to exterior. H 6".
