Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Chicken Waterer, Stamped "THOS. HAIG / 975 N. 2ND ST. / PHILA," PA origin, third quarter 19th century, domed form with flattened finial, applied handles, and hooded watering trough, the front decorated with four flower heads surrounding the trough and reverse decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant. Undersides of handles decorated with a curved cobalt line. Small chip and 1/2" line to top of finial. Minor chips and a few hairlines to edge of watering trough. Tiny base chip on side. H 7 3/4".
