Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, New England origin, early 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design on the front. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a few contact marks to surface. H 14 1/2".
