Outstanding Six-Gallon Stoneware Churn or Jar with Heavy Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "R.W. RUSSELL," Beaver, PA origin, circa 1865, ovoid vessel with squared rim and large lug handles, decorated with a large cobalt fuschia design accented with graduated swags. Two very large reglued pieces on reverse. Additional hairlines. A few small chips on interior where a lid would rest. H 17".
