Two Northeastern U.S. Stoneware Jars, second half 19th century, a two-gallon handled jar, decorated front and back with a looping line design resembling a plant, and a three-gallon handled jar with leaf design. Two-gallon jar with base chips, flaking at base, and hairlines at base. Three-gallon jar with chips on interior of rim, small base chip, and whitish surface residue. H (of two-gallon jar) 13".
