Rare Stoneware Beer Keg, Impressed "BEER KEG / 1840," Northeastern U.S. origin, ovoid form with tooled bands and pouring spout at center, stamped on one end "BEER KEG" and the other "1840." Unusual half-circle spout. Rare impressed words and date. Provenance: Laurence Fish Estate, Trenton, NJ. 3" hairline on one end. H 11 3/4".
