Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. FISHER / LYONS, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a two-stemmed brushed and slip-trailed cobalt floral design. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. 5 3/4" surface line from rim on reverse, which does not extend through to interior. H 10 1/4".
