Five-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Midwestern origin, circa 1880, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt "5" underscored by a "bee stinger". Rim chips on reverse and interior. Minor wear to one handle. H 13".
