Slip-Decorated Redware Loaf Dish, probably Norwalk, CT, circa 1840, oval dish with coggled edge and lead-glazed surface, decorated with curling and looping lines of yellow slip. 6 1/2", 3 1/4" and 2 1/2" hairlines from rim. Chips and wear to edge. Wear to interior. Length 12 3/4".
