One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, probably J.M. Hickerson, Strasburg, VA, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with three groups of brushed cobalt swags. Contact mark at base. Minor wear to bottom edge. Two rim chips on exterior. One rim chip on interior measuring 1 1/4". H 9 1/8".
