Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "N. CLARK & CO. / LYONS," New York State origin, circa 1840, ovoid jug with semi-squared rim and applied strap handle, decorated with a brushed cobalt 2 underscored by a stylized leaf or flower. Near mint condition with two minor spout chips and two stone pings. H 14 1/4".
