Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, probably W.H. Lehew, Strasburg, VA circa 1870, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a series of brushed cobalt swags around the shoulder. Hairlines on underside, a few of which extend 1/2" onto base. Three rim chips. H 8".
