One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to W.H. Lehew, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with three groups of bright cobalt swags and flowers around the shoulder. 4 1/2" hairline from rim. Small rim chip. H 9 5/8".
