Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "J. KEISTER & CO. / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1865, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a series of large brushed swags around the shoulder. Long vertical crack from rim, extending onto underside. Base chip and small rim chips. H 9".
