Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "GRAHAM & STONE. / GEN'. MERCHANDISE. / JACKSON C.H. / W. VA," Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with sloped shoulder and rounded rim with wax sealer interior, stenciled with Jackson Courthouse merchant advertising surrounding a stenciled flourish. Chips to inner wax sealer rim. Minor base chip. 4 3/4" hairline from rim on reverse. H 7 3/4".
