Fine Small-Sized Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1875, with ovoid body, large cylindrical molding at base of collar, and flaring spout, decorated with a sweeping fuschia vine design in Albany slip. Midsection decorated with inverted drape-like brushwork. Collar decorated with drapes and dots, and handle decorated with stripes. As-made condition with some minor, in-the-making wear at edge on underside. H 5".
