Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a long-tailed bird perched on a stylized branch. Four large cracks and one hairline from rim. Three rim chips. Chips to one handle. H 9 3/8".
