Stoneware Spittoon with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, with rounded foot, carved hole at shoulder, and opening at center on top, decorated around the body with fan-shaped cobalt flowers. A nicely-decorated Baltimore spittoon. Provenance: From a thirty-year Virginia collection. Two cracks extending from the carved opening at shoulder, measuring 4 1/2" and 4 1/4". H 4 3/8" ; Diameter 8".
